Mayor Buboltz called on City Engineer, Gary Nansen to give a preliminary engineering report titled, Sanitary Sewer & Water Main, Long Lake Phase 3.  After questions to the City Engineer, Council and staff concerning the report, Mayor Buboltz asked for comments from the public.  The Council was asked to consider providing temporary road access during construction because of the dead ends on Longview Lane.  The Council was also asked to consider providing a turnaround on the south end of Longview Lane.

After discussion, Mayor Buboltz called for a poll from those present, as to if they preferred construction of the project in 2008 or 2009.  The results showed thirteen property owners in favor of a 2008 construction in late summer and fall and ten property owners favoring construction in late summer and fall of 2009.

Mayor Buboltz advised that, the Commuity Development Committee, at their regular meeting, Monday September 10, 2007 at 3:00 P.M, would discuss a decision on the matter.
