The City of Detroit Lakes sealcoats all
City paved streets in a 5-year rotation cycle to extend the life of the bituminous
pavement. We also use an air-patching machine for repair of small cracks and for pavement
failures. The City has a 5-year plan for collector and residential street construction and reconstruction.
